Get Familiar with the Custom-Design Process

At Joel McFadden Designs, we begin with a complimentary consultation to discover what you need and want in your jewelry. We look at your lifestyle, your budget, and even your existing jewelry wardrobe to make sure your new piece will be compatible in every way possible. We'll probably draw a few sketches to pinpoint your preferences, then the magic begins. We'll engineer your design into our state-of-the-art CAD program and produce both engineering/line drawings and photo-quality images of your design. You can feel free to make adjustments to make it exactly what you want. Then we'll make a wax or resin 3-D model for you to try on. Finally, we'll cast it in your metal of choice, polish it to perfection, and set any gemstones and/or diamonds. We can even set your diamonds right in front of you while you enjoy a complimentary hot or cold beverage at "The Gold Bar." Click here to see our staff at work.

Diamonds From the Source

When you shop at Joel McFadden Designs, you know you're buying directly from the source when you buy your setting, but did you know you can also buy your diamonds directly from the source? Our diamonds are cut by world-renowned diamtiere Lazer Wolf, who owns the cutting facility in Johannesburg, South Africa. If we don't have exactly what you're looking for in our Red Bank studio, it's very likely that we can have it delivered from our Manhattan office by the next day. And since you're buying direct, you'll find our diamond prices are comparable to most internet offerings. The nice thing is, you can see and touch these beautiful, sparkling gems.
