When Joel McFadden Designs opened in 1994 in Greenfield, Massachusetts, we had an inventory of 12 handmade rings and a pendant. We became known as a custom and repair jewelry shop. Our inventory grew wildly to accommodate the demand, and our reputation as top-shelf designers and repair jewelers grew too. Many jewelers consider themselves to be custom jewelers because they can order parts out of a catalogue and put them together, but JMD is the real benchmark for jewelers because we create jewelry in its entirety, and we do it at your direction. We're all about giving you exactly what you want.

Joel McFadden started building jewelry in 1972, working after school for his grandfather. Born and raised in Charleston, S.C.

He likes playing tournament paintball and participates in the SCA.
