Introduction to Jewelry Making
Jewelry Making Fundamentals: A Beginner's Workshop

This intensive, hands-on workshop is specifically designed for the absolute beginner with little to no previous jewelry-making experience. Over the course of three full days, students will be immersed in the foundational skills essential to creating professional-quality metal jewelry.

Course Curriculum Highlights:

Precision Drilling and Piercing: Learn the proper techniques for safely and accurately drilling holes and using a jeweler's saw for intricate piercing, a vital skill for creating complex shapes and settings.

Expert Polishing and Finishing: Master the steps involved in achieving a flawless, mirror-like finish on your metal pieces, moving from sanding and filing through various polishing compounds and rotary tools.

Introduction to Soldering: This core module provides a basic introduction to the art of soldering. Students will learn about proper setup, torch safety, flux application, and the use of different solder types to permanently join metal components.

Project-Based Learning: The curriculum is structured around practical application. Throughout the workshop, you will complete two distinct jewelry-making projects, allowing you to immediately practice and solidify the skills introduced in each module.

By the end of this comprehensive course, participants will have gained confidence in handling essential tools, a strong understanding of fundamental metalworking processes, and two completed pieces of jewelry to start their portfolio.
The comprehensive course fee covers all aspects and material costs of this three-day program,
which is scheduled for a Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, from 10 am to 6 pm each day.

Due to limited seating capacity, a specific date cannot be guaranteed until the Registration Fees have been paid in full.
Upon processing of your Enrollment Request, you will be issued an invoice for the Registration Fees.
