There are three levels of custom jewelry design:
Full Custom Design: It begins with an idea. A piece of jewelry designed and created from scratch.
​Semi-Custom Design: A designs that is similar to what you want that just needs to be modified to make it uniquely yours.
Made to Order: Existing designs crafted by request, modified only by sizing and choice of metal and/or gemstone.

When our clients are ready to create their own
​Custom JMD Masterpiece. Here's how we do it:

STEP 1: Consultation
Send us an email, give us a call or complete our online form for your initial consultation. Here's what we want to know:
  • A general description of the project. It can be very detailed or as simple as, "I'd like a custom ring for my wife."
  • Your budget. We create jewelry just for you and we can adjust the materials to accommodate most reasonable budgets. 
  • Sketches, photos, Pinterest boards, or any other kind of inspiration that will help us understand your style and what moves you.​ ​
STEP 2: Rendering
Before we begin working on your project, we will ask for a design deposit (about $500) to cover the time it takes to thoughtfully design your custom piece.

When the design is ready, we will send you images of the piece to review. We can discuss any changes or adjustments you would like to see.
STEP 3: Build
Once you approve the design, we will get you an accurate price quote based on costs at the time of purchase. We ask for a 50% deposit in order to start the process of crafting your custom design. 

When the piece is finished, we ask for the remaining 50% before moving to the final step.
FINAL STEP: Delivery
We make every effort to deliver on your schedule because we know you have plans. Enjoy your new jewelry. We never charge to clean or inspect your JMD Masterpiece.
The time frame for this process can vary.  Much of the time is spent coming up with the perfect design for you. 
Once the render is approved, you can expect we will typically be ready for delivery within 4-6 weeks.
Some projects will complete in as little as 2-3 weeks and others may require considerably longer than 6 weeks.
Starting the designing part of the process as early as possible is highly recommended.
